Splice Bars, Joint Bars, Crane Rail Bars

Splice bars for 12# ASCE to 85# ASCE rail meet design requirements to provide stable connections. Also called fish plates, these bars meet the demands of a smooth transition between rails while providing long life for your rail.

Connections for T-Rail sections from 100# AREA to 132# AREA use joint bars. These “toeless” bars provide slightly more support for larger size rails carrying heavier loads.

104# - 175# crane rail bars feature a form fit within the web and are produced for tight fit specifications. We can also provide “tight joint” bars for other rail sections as required. This allows for greater stability for the largest overhead cranes lifting the heaviest loads.

For special applications, BR&L can furnish customized bars for expansion joints.
